Job Summary
Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns across CNC machines, presses, and facility systems. Follow safety policies including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures while identifying and reporting abnormal conditions. Assist with installations, upgrades, and modifications; maintain accurate records and support root cause analysis. Work closely with the Maintenance Lead for hands-on training in a metal manufacturing environment. Maintain clean, organized work areas compliant with 5S and ISO 9001 standards. This role impacts machine reliability, safety, and production performance in Polkton, NC.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Experience in metal manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Experience with CNC machinery
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in hot environments
- Comfortable working in loud environments
- Comfortable working in confined environments
- Comfortable working in elevated environments
- Ability to stand frequently
- Ability to walk frequently
- Ability to bend frequently
- Ability to climb frequently
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to use power tools
