Job Summary
Respond to unanticipated facility needs to minimize risk and service disruption while conducting routine inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, power plant, general, groundskeeping, and patient care equipment systems. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable codes, maintain inventory and documentation of parts and repairs, and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies. Complete on-the-job training in all maintenance disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective communication with coworkers, residents, families, and contractors
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform maintenance tasks
