Job Summary
Maintenance Team Member responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and facilities. Work scope includes planned, predictive and breakdown maintenance repair. Read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and electrical/mechanical diagrams to troubleshoot and repair equipment; identify and diagnose failures; use appropriate measuring and test equipment; remove and install parts; assist with installation and operation of new equipment; perform preventative and predictive maintenance; ensure OSHA safety standards and 5S cleanliness. Requires 3 years of related maintenance experience; High School/GED with 2-year degree in mechanical/electrical technology preferred. May require domestic/international travel; OT as needed; Tier-1 automotive manufacturing experience preferred; cross-cultural experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years job related experience maintaining & repairing industrial machinery
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance guidelines and programs
- Knowledge of OSHA machine regulations and recommendations
- Understanding of Electrical circuits and Schematics
- Experience with machine operation and programming systems
- Self-motivation and ability to work with little direction
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- General computer skills required
- A positive team attitude
- Software Skills Required: SAP
