Job Summary
Carry out preventative maintenance and regular safety checks across the hotel, responding to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues in a timely manner. Undertake general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, decorating, carpentry, and repairs while troubleshooting faults and completing basic repairs safely. Conduct routine inspections of hotel areas, equipment, and systems, always following security, fire safety, and Health and Safety procedures. Assist guests with enquiries regarding the hotel's facilities in a professional and helpful manner. This full-time role at Novotel Leeds Centre requires hands-on experience, ideally within hospitality, with shifts running between 7:00am and 5:30pm and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hands-on maintenance experience
- Must be confident carrying out routine maintenance tasks independently
- Must use their own initiative and sound judgement
- Must work effectively as part of the wider team
- Strong practical knowledge

- Ability to troubleshoot problems
- Ability to complete basic repairs safely and efficiently
