Job Summary
Lead maintenance team on 2nd shift to ensure safe, efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities. Play a key role in supporting environmental, health, safety, and food safety quality standards, regulatory requirements, preventive maintenance execution, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and improve production performance. Responsibilities include coaching and developing Maintenance Technicians, managing maintenance work orders in SAP, overseeing contractor services, ensuring maintenance budgets and permits are met, driving root cause analysis and reliability initiatives, and reporting on maintenance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline preferred
- 3+ years of maintenance experience
- Prior leadership/supervisory experience
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and electrical principles
- Proficiency reading schematics, blueprints, and technical procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving skills in manufacturing environments
- Computer proficiency including maintenance systems and SAP preferred
- CAD or drafting experience preferred
- Ability to work on-site in manufacturing facilities
