Job Summary
Lead and supervise the daily activities of the maintenance team, scheduling and prioritizing work orders while performing routine repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems. Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues, conduct safety inspections, and coordinate with outside vendors. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, maintain inventory of supplies and tools, and assist with emergency repairs and after-hours needs. Support community readiness for Department of Health surveys and promote a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Full-time position with starting pay of $26.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous maintenance experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC
- Working knowledge of plumbing
- Working knowledge of electrical
- Working knowledge of carpentry
- Working knowledge of general building maintenance
- Ability to read and complete work orders and maintenance documentation
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical work, including bending, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in healthcare, assisted living, senior living, or hospitality
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
