Job Summary
Maintenance Team Lead responsible for guiding a shift of maintenance technicians, delegating work orders, troubleshooting and repairing production machinery, ensuring safety and GMP compliance, and collaborating with maintenance supervisor and other departments. Lead by example in safety practices, drive root-cause analysis, maintain daily Work Summary Reports and PM/work order documentation, and develop/update SOPs. Requires hands-on maintenance, strong technical knowledge of production equipment, schematics interpretation, and the ability to train and develop team members, while maintaining clear shift communications and driving process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, Associates degree or higher in a technical field preferred
- Maintenance Technician level 2 or above (required)
- 2+ years of experience in leadership roles in maintenance
- Read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams
- Repair variable frequency drives, servo motors and controllers, PLC I/O cards, safety modules
- Experience with CMMS system
- Forklift experience a plus (certification not required)
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and multitask
- Must wear PPE and adhere to GMPs
