Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of facility maintenance for accommodations, grounds, restaurants, and guest services under the Operations Manager. Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations, troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently, and respond to after-hours calls to maintain guest satisfaction. Carry out and oversee operational policies and procedures while managing budgets, resources, and staff effectively. Monitor and improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes, ensuring all safety standards are met. Apply in-depth knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electric, HVAC, and basic mechanics to diagnose root causes and suggest solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in general facility maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electric, HVAC and basic mechanics
- Ability to quickly diagnose the root cause of failures and suggest appropriate solutions
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with the site staff and internal partners, external vendors, and groups of residents
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory maintenance or construction management experience
