Job Summary
Maintenance Team Lead for a Thursday–Sunday day shift (5:45am–6:00pm) leading a maintenance team at BlueScope Coated Products. Requires PLC and basic drives experience, strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and communicate effectively; offers a comprehensive benefits package and total compensation. Employer is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Technology Diploma, Trade Certification or minimum of five years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic and/or Electrician
- PLC and basic drives experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Proficient communication skills – ability to explain complex electrical issues
- Physically demanding work capability (climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting, bending)
- Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
