Job Summary
Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, and replacing light bulbs. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues, install appliances and equipment, and conduct maintenance tasks including inspecting ventilation systems and safety systems like fire alarms. Do garden/yard upkeep, collecting trash, and collaborate with the Administrator during renovations while reporting issues. Requires a valid driver license and weekly transportation. 1-2 years of experience working in maintenance capacity for commercial/residential buildings is needed, along with thorough knowledge of building materials, tools, and systems such as steam boilers and electrical wiring.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 Years of experience working in maintenance capacity for commercial/residential buildings
- Thorough knowledge of building materials and tools as well as their use in maintenance and repair
- Working knowledge of building structures and systems (i.e.: steam and hot water boilers, electrical systems, air conditioning equipment, etc.)
- Valid Driver License
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
