Job Summary
Directly supervise maintenance department employees in a manufacturing environment, including interviewing, training, planning work assignments, appraising performance, and resolving problems. Establish work procedures to meet production schedules, create work orders for technicians, and run downtime reports. Implement and maintain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), complete site preparation for new equipment, and develop preventive maintenance programs. Provide 24/7 support to staff and Engineering, initiate investigations of incidents, and complete 8Ds with root cause analysis. Actively participate in safety meetings, audits, and committees to enforce safety rules and environmental objectives. Must be willing to work the 2nd shift (3pm - 12am).

- Must be able to effectively participate in safety meetings and safety walks
- Must be able to effectively follow and enforce safety rules and job rotations
- Must be able to effectively achieve and maintain Safe Workplace and Environmental and Sustainability objectives
- Must be able to effectively initiate timely investigations of all reported incident/accidents, injuries
- Must be able to effectively complete all 8Ds, listing the 5 whys and identifying and documenting root causes
