Job Summary
Conduct prompt and efficient service calls, manage on-call rotations, and schedule apartment turns within three to five business days. Perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry repairs while maintaining common areas, pools, and maintenance shops. Train staff, oversee outside contractors, and execute weekly community inspections and move-out walkthroughs. Establish a preventive maintenance program, manage the maintenance budget, and ensure compliance with EPA and Fair Housing requirements. Order supplies and maintain accurate property records.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage
- Possess effective time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change in a composed manner
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Maintenance experience & knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to communicate clearly with the residents
- Ability to work cooperatively and in a teamwork environment
- Willing to work on-call hours and on weekends as determined by Property Manager and incorporated into work schedule
- Willing to travel for training and education seminars

Desired Qualifications
- EPA certification preferred
- If required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date
