Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor responsible for the overall maintenance of the property, including on-call service, scheduling apartment turns within 3-5 business days, performing light electrical/plumbing/carpentry/masonry repairs, maintaining common areas and facilities (pool/Jacuzzi), supervising maintenance staff, assisting in vendor selection and budget adherence, ensuring EPA requirements, conducting weekly inspections, reviewing move-outs, and coordinating with the Property Manager on preventive maintenance. Requires valid driver’s license, EPA certification preferred, ability to lift heavy objects, strong communication with residents, and willingness to work on-call hours, weekends, and travel for training.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage
- EPA certification preferred. If required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to communicate clearly with the residents
- Maintenance experience & knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances
- Willing to travel for training and education seminars
- Willing to work on-call hours and on weekends as determined by Property Manager
