Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor at Enterprise Community Partners (York Commons) leads the physical condition, appearance, and operational efficiency of the property to ensure a safe, attractive living environment and strong resident satisfaction. Oversees maintenance staff and apartment turnovers, conducts routine and emergency repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting, maintains logs, coordinates preventive maintenance, and manages service contracts and budgets. Delivers training to associates, supports incidents and emergencies, and participates in budget planning. Includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years as a maintenance technician or other applicable experience; prior supervisory experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- EPA Section 608 Technician Certification- Type II or Universal Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment)
- Extensive knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, equipment repair, and painting
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to lead, direct, and motivate others to innovate and excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact, in English, with a diverse group of associates, residents and external agencies
