Job Summary
Oversee all weekend maintenance operations for assigned plant facilities, including scheduling preventative maintenance, troubleshooting machine problems, and implementing repairs to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure associate safety through program implementation, audits, and investigations while managing the CMMS for corrective and preventive work. Select, develop, and retain top maintenance technicians, providing real-time coaching on root cause analysis and driving Lean/A3 initiatives. Routinely inspect buildings and equipment to identify additional repair needs and review maintenance project requests. Coordinate weekly maintenance schedules and keep vendors, customers, and plant management informed of operations.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend shift
- BS degree preferred, relevant work experience in lieu of education will be considered
- Minimum of 3 years' maintenance related experience
- Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment preferred
- Demonstrated leadership ability and communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading through multiple projects
- Demonstrated proficiency in plant work rules, attendance guidelines, timekeeping system, pay rules, and contract issues
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of methods, materials, and techniques related to repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Pass additional drug screening
