Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor leading a team of hourly personnel (millwrights and electricians) responsible for timely, safe breakdown response, repairs, and preventative maintenance to meet production goals. Develop and enforce a preventative maintenance schedule, inspect equipment and write work orders, collaborate with Maintenance Manager and Production Superintendent on process/equipment improvements, train trades on inspections, and ensure proper documentation and safety training are completed. Emphasizes safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience of skilled tradesman in an industrial environment
- Be well-organized, detail oriented, and proficient in Excel and Word
- Be mechanically and electrically proficient; able to diagnose and evaluate equipment
- Be proficient in interpretation of blueprints and electrical schematics
- Ability to parallel tasks and stay focused on several items at once
