Job Summary
Coordinate general maintenance for the apartment community, including repairs, troubleshooting, apartment turnover, and preventative maintenance. Respond to all on-call emergencies and complete follow-up on open unresolved tickets while inspecting grounds and buildings daily to ensure safety and curb appeal. Use general maintenance equipment safely, retain outside contractors, and monitor work to ensure timely completion. Work with the Property Manager to ensure functions are performed properly and obtain competitive bids for maintenance expenses. Follow policies relating to fair housing, OSHA, and pool standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in apartment maintenance including basic electrical & plumbing diagnostics/repair
- Certified Pool Operator
- HVAC certification required (universal)
- Have basic tools for the trade
- Provide a valid driver license, and have reliable transportation
- Have the flexibility to occasionally respond to 'off-hour' emergency situations and resident concerns
- Candidates will be required to pass a credit & criminal background check and drug test
