Job Summary
Supervise maintenance staff by delegating work orders, managing special projects, and overseeing HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical, and appliance service requests. Conduct inspections of existing and completed work, mentor new and existing team members, and lead interviews for new hires. Provide monthly energy management recommendations, identify capital improvements with estimates, and assist in budget preparation for maintenance expenses. Requires two years of supervisory experience in apartment or hotel maintenance, gas appliance expertise, and EPA Universal Certification. Includes a quarterly bonus, 401(k) match, and medical/dental/optical insurance.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years supervisory experience leading a team
- Experience in a hotel, apartment, hospital maintenance/engineering
- Experience with gas furnaces and gas appliances
- Excellent customer service and computer skills
- Ability to create a team, mentor and train a team
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers and H.V.A.C.
- H.V.A.C. or EPA Universal Certification
- Proven track record managing a preventative maintenance program
- Experience with capital projects
- Must complete required background checks
- Pre-employment drug testing is required
