Job Summary
Manage daily maintenance tasks, including scheduling preventive work, executing corrective actions, and minimizing equipment downtime through rapid response to reliability issues. Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards by conducting OJT, monitoring LOTO procedures, and leading safety QRQC for accidents and near-misses. Develop team autonomy through annual appraisals, salary reviews, and training plans that address flexibility and multi-skill needs. Monitor Key Performance Indicators, absenteeism, and equipment availability while driving continuous improvement via PDCA, 5 WHYs, and Kaizen initiatives. Ensure updated work instructions exist and that all maintenance interventions meet quality and 5S standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing people and teams
- Knowledge of safety rules for maintenance activities (such as LOTO procedure)
- Ability to conduct induction of newcomers (including temporaries)
- Ability to organize and schedule training actions
- Knowledge of Line QRQC, Maintenance QRQC, Maintenance 5 WHYs, red tags use
- Ability to analyze flexibility and multi skills needs of a team
- Ability to define training plans
- Ability to monitor certification process for team members
- Ability to manage daily absenteeism, holidays, safety rules enforcement, environment risk analysis, and Key Performance Indicators
- Ability to ensure standards of reaction are applied with rigor
- Ability to perform escalation according to standards
- Ability to conduct annual appraisals
- Ability to conduct salary review
- Ability to promote ERIM & TPM
- Ability to perform OJT (On-the-Job Training) of teams
- Ability to enforce health, safety, environmental & site rules
- Ability to ensure existence of updated maintenance work instructions
- Ability to respect all working standards (safety, work instructions, quality, 5S, respect for the product, OK start After maintenance intervention, including preventive maintenance)
- Ability to define work standards with team members
- Ability to ensure ERIM standards are properly deployed and used
- Ability to conduct Maintenance Line QRQC root cause analysis with production
- Ability to solve and follow up on red tags
- Ability to conduct Maintenance 5 WHYs or PDCA/FTA on assigned topics
- Ability to conduct OJT of production on delegated preventive maintenance
- Ability to manage maintenance tasks and respect Maintenance KPIs targets
- Ability to prepare scheduled maintenance tasks
- Ability to ensure tasks are done respecting planned time communicated to Logistic & Production
- Ability to order, repair, or get repaired in emergency Spare Parts
- Ability to allocate appropriate resources for corrective actions
- Ability to define and take actions to avoid recurrence
- Ability to react in case of issue and escalate issues at APU & Maintenance management
- Ability to support team on major technical issues
- Ability to lead Continuous Improvement Lead action plans
- Ability to participate in equipment performance control & improvement
- Ability to participate in cycle time measurements and micro-stoppages observation sessions
- Ability to maintain a dynamic and efficient Proposals of Improvements system
- Ability to participate in safety and environment risks reduction
- Ability to lead Safety QRQC for all accidents & near-misses involving Maintenance people
- Ability to contribute to new equipment and processes industrialization and start ups
- Ability to participate in Maintenance QRQC
- Ability to pilot PDCA / FTA & Maintenance 5 WHYs on topics assigned by the Maintenance Manager
- Ability to prepare LLC & Kaizen Cards
- Ability to participate in maintenance budget preparation
- Ability to propose potential organization improvements
- Ability to promote the Valeo 5 axes in daily activities
- Ability to develop improvement plan on VPS, IP, TQ
- Ability to reach assigned V5000 targets
