Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor at a manufacturing facility responsible for directing the Maintenance department, supervising lead(s) and technicians, training and mentoring staff, and supporting the facility to ensure product quality through improved equipment and facility reliability. Responsibilities include hiring and training, scheduling and approving maintenance staff hours, completing performance evaluations, maintaining a 5S work environment, ensuring GMPs, OSHA/NFPA 70E compliance, and adhering to company policies. The role requires expertise in electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, HVAC/plumbing, blueprints, spare parts inventory, and data analysis, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and effective communication. Minimum qualifications include 2-year degree (preferred) and 3+ years of supervisory maintenance experience; relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year college degree in business or related field preferred; Four-year college degree a plus
- Three (3) or more years of maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment is ideal, but open to all manufacturing or high-speed distribution experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent communication, conflict management, decision-making, motivational and organizational skills required
- Strong self-confidence and leadership skills required
- Must be able to uphold Maker’s Pride’s mission, vision and values on a daily basis
