Job Summary
Schedule and execute maintenance activities while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule requirements are met. Provide day-to-day supervision of maintenance personnel, assign preventive and repair tasks, and order necessary parts. Analyze equipment failures to prevent future problems and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions. Assist with plant infrastructure upgrades and capital expenditure planning by providing failure history input. Read blueprints, enforce housekeeping standards, train department personnel, and facilitate 5S projects. Maintain facilities and control systems to safely and cost-effectively produce quality products. Requires 5 years of supervisory experience in line manufacturing; reports to Maintenance Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- 5 years of front line supervisory experience in a line manufacturing role
- Strong electrical experience in an industrial or steel related environment
- Experience with high voltage distribution systems
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- AS or BS in Engineering
- Training in all areas of electrical/mechanical testing and repairs
- Experience with stainless steel and specialty alloys
- PLC/Drives/Controls
- Strong computer skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communicate with all levels of employees
- Ability to multi-task
