Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of maintenance technicians at multifamily properties in Dickinson, ND. Responsible for planning and prioritizing maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance; provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service; perform a range of trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs; ensure completion within budget and on schedule; develop and maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing; maintain maintenance records, budgets, and inventory; identify safety hazards and collaborate with property management and tenants to address maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 4-5 years progressively responsible maintenance/repair experience in HVAC systems, mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing and grounds in multi-family developments
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Basic knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with property management software preferred (e.g., Yardi, Appfolio, MRI)
- Freon recovery certification / EPA Certification Min Type II
- Certified apartment service technician (CAMT) preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Certifications/permits required by city or state to perform job responsibilities; boiler, plumbing, HVAC, journeyman license, fire extinguisher and first aid training preferred
- Must have training in compressor diagnosis, appliance repair
