Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor responsible for preservation and upkeep of the property and safety of maintenance personnel, adhering to OSHA standards and company safety policies. Oversees on-site maintenance activities across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs; manages preventive maintenance, work orders, and inventories; ensures compliance with local building codes and permits; maintains accurate records; participates in standby emergency coverage; trains subordinate staff; coordinates with the Community Manager and vendors; maintains grounds and property appearance; travels as needed for property business; requires EPA certification or ability to obtain within 90 days and English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- EPA certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire/promotion
- Knowledge of property HVAC units
- On-site maintenance experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting; ability to perform or supervise repairs
