Job Summary
Implement and assign daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs for the pool, buildings, grounds, and campground equipment. Perform basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs as directed by the Resort Manager while providing excellent guest services through attentive responses and a professional demeanor. Comply with federal and state safety programs regarding equipment, tools, and chemicals, and report all customer problems or complaints for resolution. Make and meet goals set by yourself, attend staff meetings, and ensure a well-groomed appearance with proper uniform. You must be able to work weekends as necessary, lift up to 50 lbs, and possess light computer skills including Teams and Outlook Express email knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation
- Basic knowledge of pool operations (CPO certification may be required)
- Basic knowledge of safe handling of chemical properties, handling and usage
- Basic knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing (certification may be required)
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Long periods of standing, bending, and kneeling
- Must be able to safely operate various maintenance tools and equipment
- Light computer skills
- Teams usage
- Outlook Express email knowledge
- Must be able to work weekends as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years Verifiable maintenance supervisor position preferred but not necessary
