Job Summary
Supervise a team of mechanics to ensure daily maintenance goals, quality, and safety standards are met. Monitor and manage work orders, schedule shifts, and oversee repairs while enforcing sanitation and cost-containment protocols. Handle record-keeping for Food Safety and Quality Plans, reporting issues to management as needed. Requires a four-year degree in maintenance technology or five-plus years of industrial experience with food processing background. Full-time role with competitive compensation and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Maintenance or Technology (MET)
- 5+ years experience in industrial maintenance with a food processing background
- Knowledge of Industrial electrical systems
- Knowledge of Welding
- Knowledge of Boilers
- Knowledge of Pneumatics
- Knowledge of Hydraulics
- Computer proficient MS Office
- AutoCAD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solver
- Detail-oriented
- Able to make decisions quickly
- Progressive leadership and excellent supervisory skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in Sanitary welding
