Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor responsible for maintaining property in high-quality condition, supervising move-ins, and operating within approved budget. Manage staffing levels in collaboration with the Community Manager and Regional Manager; hire, inspect, counsel, promote, and, if needed, terminate staff. Lead skills training for staff, schedule work, ensure a safe working environment, and keep common areas in repair and clean condition. Perform preventive maintenance for pools, parking lots, and building exteriors; make capital improvement recommendations. Respond to service requests within 24 hours; visit competing properties to inspect maintenance quality; order parts as needed; educate staff on safety and OSHA guidelines; maintain Peak Living safety bulletin adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on working knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks
- Leadership skills and ability to deal effectively with customers/residents
- Basic knowledge of HVAC and CFC certification within 90 days
- One year as a Maintenance Supervisor with professional management firm or six months assistant with Peak Living
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to communicate in English
