Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor role overseeing and performing technical/mechanical work to ensure community buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality; responsibilities include handling work orders from residents, completing make-ready process for vacant units, inspecting work and contractors, maintaining supplies, performing monthly preventative maintenance, assisting in budgeting for repairs and capital projects, and ensuring safety/compliance; requires high school diploma or equivalent, experience in property/building maintenance, OSHA/HSDS awareness, and EPA certifications as applicable; candidates should demonstrate strong customer service, communication, and ability to work with vendors and team members.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
- Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
- Incumbents must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law and must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
