Job Summary
Lead and work alongside the maintenance team on daily repairs, breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and facility support. Oversee ammonia refrigeration systems while ensuring Process Safety Management compliance and documentation. Troubleshoot industrial equipment using mechanical, electrical, and PLC knowledge, then coordinate repairs with Production, QA, and Sanitation to ensure safe return-to-service. Maintain documentation for downtime, repairs, and maintenance activities while training the team on safety, quality, and performance standards. Ensure strict adherence to LOTO, food safety, and regulatory compliance at all times. Primarily scheduled for 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with on-call support as needed. Starting pay is $90,000 annually. Active RETA CRST certification is required, along with strong experience in industrial ammonia refrigeration and PSM environments.
Required Qualifications
- Active RETA CRST certification
- Strong experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration and PSM environments
- Hands-on maintenance experience across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems
- Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial controls
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to remain hands-on while leading a team
- Schedule: Primarily 1st Shift, Monday – Friday
- On-call support required as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing (USDA/FDA/GMP)
