Job Summary
Coordinate and implement repair, maintenance, and installation activities for machines, tools, end equipment, buildings, and utility systems to ensure production continuity. Direct maintenance on utility systems providing heat, steam, electric power, and air; inspect operating equipment for conformance with standards; and manage employees assigned to your area of responsibility. Implement preventative maintenance programs, new methods, and Lean initiatives to minimize costs and improve operations. Confers with engineering, quality control, and management to resolve problems, recommend improvements, and address personnel issues. Ensure emission control systems function properly, comply with all federal, state, and local documentation, and maintain plant personnel safety. Manage budgets, request tools and supplies, and conduct training to improve worker performance and acquaint staff with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal skills to communicate with internal and external customers
- Strong writing skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Advanced Problem-Solving Skills
- Advanced mathematical skills
- Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once

- 2-5 years Supervisory experience
