Job Summary
Track abnormally high maintenance cost assets to reduce losses and prioritize critical opportunities. Perform root cause analysis, develop standard work procedures for preventive maintenance and equipment setup, and train staff. Help design installation specifications for new equipment and work with production to analyze asset utilization and reliability metrics. Provide technical support to leadership and immediately advise on significant maintenance issues causing operational delays. Ensure appropriate staffing and maintenance coverage across all production shifts, including hiring and training new teammates.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience
- Ability to develop training material and train others to perform precision maintenance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meet all required deadlines
- Good understanding of safety and the desire to follow all established procedures
- Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 3-5 years of previous supervisory or team leader experience
- Previous reliability, engineering, electrical and/or mechanical training, certification, or experience
