Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise and manage overall maintenance efforts and hourly workforce within the assigned area, overseeing routine and major maintenance activities while ensuring adherence to Shintech policies. Direct planners and technicians daily to optimize spending, improve work efficiency, and manage emergent and urgent work requests. Develop next-day work lists from weekly schedules, track progress, document lessons learned, and resolve KPI disruptions to maintain customer satisfaction. Mentor and coach personnel, assist with overtime management and general contractor workforce development, and act as Superintendent in absence. Coordinate closely with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and craft supervisors to allocate resources and improve communication across departments.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent experience and background in the mechanical field
- Five to seven years' experience in the mechanical field in a chemical plant
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to coordinate the movement of eyes, hands, feet, and fingers to operate tools and equipment
- Required to be medically certified for respirator and medically fit for duty
- Use of PPE required in specific areas
