Job Summary
Lead and coach a team of 5–15 Maintenance Tradespersons in executing maintenance activities and upholding asset-management practices. You will monitor safety practices, ensure compliance with safety requirements and the approved maintenance work-management program, allocate coverage for breakdowns, and supervise work to meet planned schedules and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Collaborate with planners and fellow Supervisors on planning and scheduling, drive issue resolution on maintenance activities and shutdowns, and contribute to the ongoing safety and performance of a California-based mining operations team. Candidates should bring a High School Diploma or equivalent (advanced degree preferred) and 5+ years of maintenance/operations experience with proven team supervision, a solid understanding of mining equipment and lubrication, strong troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and SAP. Familiarity with MSHA regulations is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance/operation or related field
- Experience supervising a team
- Knowledge of mining equipment, subsystems, lubrication properties and equipment troubleshooting
- Excellent computer skills, MS Office, Excel, SAP
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations (beneficial)
