Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead and manage MECS (mechanical, electrical, and control systems) maintenance teams across pumping stations and wastewater treatment facilities in Brisbane, coordinating with the Works Coordinator and Urban Utilities to ensure timely, compliant, and safe delivery of maintenance programs. Responsibilities include workforce management, interpreting timesheets, prioritising responsive, corrective, and preventative tasks, budgeting and resource allocation, scheduling across multi-level plans, and reporting on progress, safety, and compliance. The role requires liaison with client stakeholders and vendors, management of vehicles and mobile plant, and ensuring adherence to safety and industrial relations standards, with the ability to participate in 24/7 roster coverage when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical licence &/or Mechanical qualification
- Formal Safety Training (desirable)
- Experience: minimum 2 years in similar role or 5 years in relatable roles
- Utilities sector knowledge (mechanical and/or electrical)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
