Job Summary
Oversee daily maintenance operations for apartment communities, managing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks, carpentry, painting, janitorial services, and grounds/snow removal. Direct teams to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner while handling vendor and contractor administrative tasks. Provide on-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays. Requires high school diploma, valid driver's license, and at least five years of facilities maintenance experience with supervisory skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
- Excellent customer service skills
- Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field
- On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays
- Skilled in routine apartment maintenance
- Ability to handle administrative tasks and paperwork related to vendors/contractors
- Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 5 years related job experience
- Supervisory experience
- Basic carpentry skills
- Electrical skills
- Plumbing skills
- Experience overseeing capital improvement projects
