Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor role coordinating hands-on upkeep across residential communities in the San Antonio area. Responsibilities include leading and training the onsite maintenance team, assigning work orders, scheduling, performing advanced maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry), ensuring quality and safety standards, managing the work-order system, inspecting vendor work, overseeing make ready turnovers, supporting maintenance budgeting with the Community Manager, maintaining inventory, and conducting routine inspections. The position involves rotating on-call duties for after-hours emergencies and requires EPA Universal Certification, HVAC/technical expertise, English fluency, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with computer-based reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a residential setting
- EPA Universal Certification required
- HVAC Certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- General computer literacy for managing work orders and reporting
