Job Summary
Complete service requests within 24 hours and handle daily maintenance/repair for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and building systems. Diagnose issues, manage inventory, and obtain vendor bids while ensuring preventative maintenance is scheduled proactively. Supervise maintenance staff by interviewing, hiring, training, and directing work across multiple properties. Maintain compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations for hazardous materials and ensure safety standards are met. Be available for 24-hour emergency calls and travel between properties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three years related experience in apartment maintenance or related field
- Up-to-Date EPA Universal Certification
- Up-to-Date HVAC Certification
- Must be available and willing to answer 24-hour maintenance emergency calls
- Ability to operate standard maintenance equipment in a proper and safe manner
- Travel is required between properties
- This is a drug-free workplace
Desired Qualifications
- Swimming Pool Certification (CPO)
