Job Summary
Complete service requests within 24 hours and perform daily maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and building systems. Diagnose issues involving stairs, roofing, flooring, doors, windows, and pool areas while maintaining inventory and ordering supplies with Property Manager approval. Obtain bids, interact with vendors, and ensure compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations for hazardous materials. Directly supervise maintenance staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, and addressing complaints. Remain available for 24-hour emergency calls and travel between properties. Requires EPA Universal and HVAC certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three years related experience in apartment maintenance or related field
- Up-to-Date EPA Universal Certification
- Up-to-Date HVAC Certification
- Must be available and willing to answer 24-hour maintenance emergency calls
- Ability to operate standard maintenance equipment in a proper and safe manner
- Travel is required between properties
- This is a drug-free workplace

- Swimming Pool Certification (CPO)
