Job Summary
Oversee ongoing preventative maintenance of the facility building, equipment, and grounds while troubleshooting problems as they arise. Ensure maintenance services are available for emergency needs outside regular hours, performing most tasks independently or utilizing approved licensed vendors. Assist residents with moving and minor repairs. Maintain safety awareness and infection control measures, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to set priorities for timely task completion. Possess knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electricity, and mechanics, along with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in building maintenance
- Prior experience in managing a team
- Knowledge of plumbing, including but not limited to design/mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.
- Knowledge of HVAC, including but not limited to general principles of HVAC and heat pump operation/mechanics, and refrigeration
- Knowledge of electricity, including but not limited to wiring, voltage, amperage
- Knowledge of mechanics, including but not limited to design/operation of engines
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record with no major violations
