Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations for the apartment community, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks. Repair structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors while making units ready for occupancy. Manage 24-hour emergency maintenance, schedule and execute preventative maintenance programs, and complete grounds work like sweeping and light landscaping. Coordinate special projects as directed under the Property Manager's supervision. Maintain professional relationships with residents, contractors, and employees while possessing the necessary tools and ability to follow instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- Maintenance Tech must have the necessary tools to effectively complete the tasks outlined above.
- One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
