Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations for an apartment community in Tampa, ensuring safety, appearance, and operational standards. Perform hands-on repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, exterior structure, and appliances while diagnosing problems. Manage day-to-day administrative functions including vendor oversight, report submission, and recordkeeping. Handle service requests for vacant apartments to achieve market-ready status. Maintain resident satisfaction through excellent customer service and cooperative interactions with staff, vendors, and residents. Requires proficiency with hand and power tools, basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, and computer skills in Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Prior maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
- Ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to safely use various hand tools and power tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, hand held drills and circular saws.
- Ability to perform general janitorial duties.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).
