Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor leads shift-level maintenance operations, directing technicians, setting priorities for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance, and ensuring PM completion and work quality. Partners with Operations to align maintenance with production needs, monitors downtime, and drives rapid response to equipment issues while enforcing safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include supervising and coaching technicians, facilitating effective shift handoffs, reinforcing training standards, supporting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
- 5–10+ years of maintenance experience
- Demonstrated leadership capability through prior experience or technical leadership roles (e.g., Lead Maintenance Technician)
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing employees in a team environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, CMMS, and reliability practices
- Ability to lead teams, set priorities, and hold accountability for performance
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage shift-level operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
