Job Summary
Perform changeovers, answer line calls, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical problems in high-speed production equipment. Schedule preventative maintenance, install or rebuild systems, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic devices while enforcing safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Independently complete assignments after receiving general instructions, enforce quality standards including HACCP and GMPs, and direct the maintenance department's safety program. Work 12-hour shifts with flexibility for weekends and holidays. Requires 5 years of related experience, ability to read schematics, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and PLC software.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in related field
- Ability to read schematics
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledgeable on OSHA laws
- Ability to implement all OSHA required training for the department
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
- Must be 18 years or older
- Favorable background
- Willingness to work 12 hour shifts
- Flexibility to work a flexible Full Time schedule that may include weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Technical college
- Beverage experience
- Knowledge of MP2 software
- PLC experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
