Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance operations for a multifamily property, including preparing market-ready apartments, completing resident service requests, and performing a range of maintenance tasks (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, caulking, pool and grounds maintenance). The role requires knowledge of housing laws and safety standards, on-call emergency responsiveness, ability to manage preventative maintenance and scheduling, and strong customer service to residents. Must have a valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (EPA 608 Type II, CPO where required). The position supports a variety of shifts (including Sundays) and involves travel between properties. Compensation ranges from $36.55 to $43.00 per hour with annualized salaries between $76,024 and $89,440, depending on location and experience. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- EPA 608 Type II certification
- CPO certification or equivalent where required by city/state
- Driver's License
- 3+ years of related maintenance experience
- Knowledge of plumbing, pool maintenance, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, caulking, snow removal, life safety
- Familiarity with state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, and policies related to maintenance
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced property-management environment
- Ability to perform on-call emergency procedures
- Ability to read and interpret budgets and reports
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to travel between properties as needed
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
