Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor to oversee safety and operations across residential facilities. Responsibilities include monitoring work-in-progress to ensure conformance to contract, blueprints, specifications and company standards; maintaining procedures for maintenance, inspections, scheduling, record-keeping and reporting; overseeing staff payroll; generating reports on work orders; and providing on-call emergency support 24/7 with travel as needed. Requires 3+ years in construction/building management, 2+ years supervisory experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Word/Excel/database software. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and related crafts; advanced degree or property/project management certification preferred. Job Type: Full-time. Location: Brooklyn, NY (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in construction or building management industries.
- Bachelor degree from an accredited institution.
- Supervisory experience (minimum 2 years)
- Advanced degree or certification in property or project management preferred.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and database software.
- Solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts.
