Job Summary
Lead and direct daily activities of the Maintenance Department by assigning work via ServiceNow, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting HVAC, furnaces, and kitchen equipment. Supervise staff through regular feedback and performance evaluations, manage personnel matters per company policy, and monitor inventory to procure necessary tools and supplies. Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to determine contractor needs, oversee budget management, and ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and accreditation requirements. Maintain facility records to support regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Available for emergency responses and evening, weekend, or holiday coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of facilities or property maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, facilities maintenance, and grounds operations
- Experience with facility management software and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization, time management, and leadership abilities
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting, carrying, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be available to respond to emergency situations and work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
