Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations of a multifamily community, leading the service team, managing unit turns, and ensuring safety, quality, and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include budgeting assistance and payroll processing, inventory control, vendor coordination, OSHA/MSDS documentation, safety program leadership, regular team meetings and coaching, performance reviews, scheduling on-call rotations, responding to emergencies, conducting unit inspections, supporting capital projects, and maintaining curb appeal and grounds. Must drive equipment/tools, ensure compliance with building codes and Fair Housing/ADA standards, and coordinate with Community and Regional Managers to align with company values and safety objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Formal training or experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and refurbishing required
- Minimum 3 years of multifamily maintenance experience required
- At least 1 year of multifamily supervisory experience preferred
- Willingness to work weekends when necessary
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and personal tools required
- Willingness to travel overnight/out of state when required
- CPO and/or CAMT certification preferred
