Job Summary
Supervise the Technical trades group executing precision equipment rebuilds, assigning repair tasks based on skills and priority while reviewing output against quality and time goals. Monitor warehouse stock levels for repairable parts, identify and procure necessary materials, and maintain accurate records of work performed and costs. Commission and start new or rebuilt equipment, utilizing the SAP CMMS system to document issues and track risks for timely resolution. Drive high productivity, precision workmanship, and consistent reporting standards while promoting a safety culture and fostering crew ownership. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor and/or Planner in a heavy industrial setting
- Ability to navigate computerized maintenance management systems (SAP)
- Reputation for making health and safety a priority in the workplace
Desired Qualifications
- Technical background in a Mechanical discipline (ie, RSE, C. Tech, or C.E.T. or Red Seal Trade)
- applicable planning experience
- The knowledge of pulp mill processes
