Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical leads mechanical maintenance execution across the LNG facility in Brownsville, TX, ensuring safe, quality work practices and maximizing equipment availability. Responsibilities include proactive safety leadership, coaching and mentoring maintenance teams, ensuring labor availability and training, overseeing multiple maintenance disciplines, supporting Integrated Activity Planning & Scheduling for RGLNG, developing preventive and corrective maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with SCE and regulatory requirements, managing breakdowns and turnarounds, optimizing materials and parts, driving continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives, and providing coverage for the Maintenance Superintendent. The role requires strong experience in mechanical maintenance within LNG/Oil & Gas, expertise in CMMS (SAP or similar), interpretation of engineering drawings, and hands-on leadership during turnarounds in Brownsville, TX. Location and travel considerations are to be expected as part of normal operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years LNG Export Facility experience in a Mechanical Maintenance Execution lead role
- 10+ years LNG/Oil & Gas/Petrochemical supervisory experience
- Mechanical SME for maintenance activities
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings
- SCE testing/inspection experience
- CMMS (SAP or similar) experience
- MOC process experience
- Turnaround leadership experience
- Mechanical LNG experience (turbo machinery, pumps, compressors, valves, actuators)
- Piping fabrication/repair experience (welding: SMAW, GTAW, GMAW)
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree in Industrial Mechanical or similar (NCCER Millwright/Pipefitter/Boilermaker preferred)
- Experience with LNG/Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries
- CMMS experience (SAP or similar)
- Experience leading Turnarounds
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings
- SCE awareness and regulatory compliance experience
- Strong safety leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to work in complex construction environments
- PPE proficiency
- Mechanical maintenance execution leadership
- Proven supervision of maintenance personnel

- MOC process understanding
- Instrumentation and controls familiarity
- Turbo machinery and pump/valve/actuator familiarity

- Ability to work in US (US work authorization)
