Job Summary
The Service Manager role oversees maintenance operations for the properties, including general repairs to apartments and common areas, vacant apartment preparation, snow/trash removal, emergency repairs, cleaning, landscaping, ordering maintenance equipment and supplies, record keeping, accepting deliveries, moving appliances, and other related duties. Requires leadership, customer service, and computer skills; hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, and appliance work with experience in apartment turns. HVAC certification is a plus. Offers include a starting salary of $60,000-$66,000 (based on experience), on-call daily bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. Focus areas include staff development, organization, initiative, customer service, problem solving, and continuous improvement in maintenance operations.
Required Qualifications
- previous maintenance experience (preferably in apartment or hotel industry)
- leadership and customer service skills
- general computer knowledge
- experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and apartment turns
- HVAC or EPA Universal Certification is a plus
- on-call availability and ability to work weekends a plus
