Job Summary
Manage maintenance staff by setting daily direction, priorities, and schedules. Maintain, build, and complete a preventative maintenance program while detecting building deficiencies to delegate necessary actions. Ensure units are ready for move-ins through inspection and quality control, and guarantee work orders finish timely with high safety standards. Lead the team on curb appeal, vendor coordination, and budget management with the Community Manager. Handle after-hours emergencies via on-call rotation. Requires 3+ years of property management experience, supervisory background, and proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. EPA Type II certification and CAMT license required within one year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience with property management maintenance
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, appliance, heating, air-conditioning, and many other areas of repair
- EPA Certification Type II or universal
- certificate/license with CAMT
- certificate/licenses with OSHA and CPO
- Written, verbal, and oral communication skills
- Budget knowledge
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of property management systems such as Yardi, SightPlan, etc.
- Pass criminal background screening prior to employment
- Possession of a valid driver's license
